The Carriage Hall is a stunning wedding venue based in the beautiful village of Plumtree, Nottingham and was once a goods area for the Plumtree Railway station. Now lovingly restored by the Perkins family to host your big day! 

The Victorian building has been carefully restored and boasts beautiful views of the local countryside and comes with its own private grounds for the all important photographs. The Carriage Hall is licensed for civil ceremonies and can cater for intimate gatherings and go up to large scale celebrations. The Carriage Hall also boasts amazing accommodation for your big day in the shape of their beautifully hand crafted Shepherd Huts - A little bit of boho chic in the middle of the Plumtree countryside 

From a photography point of view I couldn't ask for a more 'perfectly lit' venue. The ceremony room at the Carriage Hall offers the best lighting for any venue in the Nottinghamshire area. Everywhere is perfectly lit. As a photographer you're always aware of the lighting and most ceremony locations can be dark or badly lit. Here the natural light pours through the arched windows and mixed with the soft venue lighting, creates a stunningly romantic soft light for the ceremony. When ever I'm shooting here light is never a worry which leaves me to naturally capture all the memories of your perfect day. 

 I get asked quite a lot - what happens if it rains? That's the good thing about The Carriage Hall - even when the weather's bad there's plenty of room for all your guests on the mezzanine and locations for indoor photos. Having shot many a wedding at The Carriage Hall I've been lucky enough to try lots of different dishes off the menu and they're up there amongst the best wedding venue food in the whole of Nottinghamshire.
