I’m on a roll this week - two blogs in a week. Got to be a record! Its been one hell of week with 21 enquiries in 6 days. Again - that’s another record!

I’m taking us back to a rather chilled out late September day for Hannah & Adam’s stunning wedding at the uber cool West Mill Venue in Derby. Always love shooting here. This amazing industrial styled venue, based on the banks of the Derwent is certainly one of my favourites.

I’ll always remember getting a phone call from Adam asking if the date was free and hearing Hannah whooping in the background when i confirmed it was! That was 18 months before the wedding and here we are on the day! Been looking forward to this wedding for a long time

Prep begins at Hannah’s alongside her mum and bridesmaids and its not long until we’re on the road to The West Mill for final prep. Bloody love that prep room at the West Mill!

The guys arrive half way through final prep so time to leave the girls for a short while and catch up Adam and his groomsman. Looking damn smart lads! Back upstairs to the dressing room for Hannah’s final touches and its not long till the ceremony begins in my favourite ceremny room ever - The Cotton Quarter

The Cotton Quarter is just simply a photographers joy - Full of light and lots of great angles. Hannah makes her stunning entrance and is greeted by a very nervous Adam

After the beautiful ceremony its downstairs to the Gallery so Hannah and Adam can greet all their guests and grab a drink. After drinks and canapes it’s off for a relaxed couple shoot. I tend to only do about 20 minutes of couple shots as I don’t like taking couples away for too long! More important to be mingling and enjoying yourself! - These guys are just a dream to work with. Insane naturals!

After another short family photo session its off to the Breakfast room for some grub and booze followed by an array of awesome speeches! Shortly after the speeches I grab Hannah and Adam before the light disappears for some smokebomb fun and my god they rocked them!

I spent a long time looking forward to this wedding and I’m nearing the end of it too quickly. The day is brought to an end on the dancefloor as I head off and leave Hannah and Adam to party the night away with their guests. One hell of a wedding and thanks to Hannah & Adam for being an amazing couple to work with! Going to miss working with you guys x
