TERMS & CONDITIONS

A deposit fee of £200.00 will secure your date. Please acknowledge that you have read and understood the terms and conditions via email - Your booking will not be secure until you have done so. The deposit fee will be deducted from the cost of the client's chosen package and is non-refundable or transferable in the event of cancellation, it being the agreed loss suffered by the photographer due to cancellation. Cancellation less than 2 calendar months before the event will result in the payment in full. All cancellations must be made in writing.
Booking fee of £200 to confirm booking will be paid immediately and final payment is due one month before the event. Payment can be made by bank transfer, Cheque or Paypal (an additional 5% fee will be added for Paypal payments). Titles to all goods remains with Chris Snowden Photo until paid for in full by the client(s)
All images are owned and digitally stored by Chris Snowden Photo. Digital files are kept on a secure hard drive for 2 years. Permission is given to make your own backups of the images. The USB containing all images from the event will be provided and you will have the right to reproduce the images therein for personal use only and not for distribution of any kind. You will receive an additional set of resized, watermarked images for you to use on your own social media pages. If found uploading the original unwatermarked images then they will be removed immediately. Images are supplied to the clients only - they must be distributed to anyone else. If your suppliers ask for images then you must put them in contact with Chris Snowden Photo. Suppliers have to buy the images from Chris Snowden Photo
DELIVERY OF GOODS
Photos will be ready 6 to 8 working weeks after the wedding. We kindly request that you refrain from contacting us before the 6 weeks are up. We will contact you straight away once the photos are ready so we can arrange delivery. Your USB will contain all the colour originals and the edited images. The total amount supplied could include variations of the same image in a different finish eg: Colour and Black and White
All edited images are chosen at the photographers discretion and at no point once you have received the DVD/USB can you request any additional edited images
For those having a full days photographic coverage you will receive no less than 200 edited images on your USB. The total amount supplied could include variations of the same image in a different finish eg: Colour, Black and White and Sepia.
Chris Snowden Photo retains all rights over creative control. The client(s) can request a selection of desired photos during the reception (Reception - The time after the ceremony and before the wedding breakfast) A list of preferred group photos is requested before the wedding. No more than 15 groups can be listed. While every effort will be made to capture your preferred photos - at no point can Chris Snowden Photo guarantee that all requested images will be taken. This can be for number of reasons - Weather, Time constraints, location and guest participation
DESIGN OF STORYBOOK ALBUM
When you receive your USB it will contain a PDF. It will ask you to put together a list of photos to go into your album design. Once you have submitted the list you will not be able to add any more to it so please ensure you double check every image is listed that you want in the album. All images in the list will be incorporated into the design proof.
Any person taking longer than 4 months to send the list through (from when you receive your USB) will be contacted to initiate a refund for the album cost as Chris Snowden Photo can not allow a back log in work to build up as this could affect future clients' workflow.
Please note that you can only choose images from the 'edited' selection. Images from the 'originals ' are not for album use.
You will be able to remove images and move images around within the proof but will not be able to add replacements.
Please ensure you select the correct version (ie: colour or black and white) as we are unable to swap these once the proof has been designed.
A digital proof will be sent to you before the album goes to print. Once you have received the proof from us (via email only) you have one round of amendments free of charge. Any further amendments will incur additional charges at £5 per amendment.
Storybook albums have a set page count of 34 inner pages as standard. Please be aware that no additional pages can be added once the proofing stage has begun. If you want less images per page but still want to incorporate all your chosen images then you can request additional 8 page sections . The cost for an additional 8 page section is £60. This will be paid in full before any work can commence. You will be required to send your list to firstname.lastname@example.org
Please note: Once you have given the go ahead to print then no more changes can be made
DELIVERY OF STORYBOOK
Items will be either hand delivered or by special delivery up to 6 working weeks after proof sign off. If you live outside a 20 mile radius from our address then special delivery is required. An additional £20.00 will added to the bill which will need to be paid before goods are sent.
Images for the storyboard are chosen at the photographers discretion and are supplied in a 6 inch x 4 inch format only. Please refrain from removing the images from the frame and either taking a picture of them or scanning them for social media use. This is a form of distribution and contravenes copyright law. Images chosen are at the photographers discretion. Frame supplied may differ depending on stock level
The photographer will endeavour to put the client(s) in touch with another photographer in the event they are unable to attend on the wedding date due to any cause beyond their reasonable control e.g. sudden illness, injury,victim of crime, flooding etc (Note: These are examples only and cause for cancellation may be something not listed in this section)
In the event of cancellation by the photographer, or in the very unlikely event of total photographic failure, liability shall be limited to a full refund of any fees paid.
The client(s) hereby allows the photographer to display any photograph covered by this contract and to generally promote the business in advertising, brochures, magazine articles, websites, sample albums etc.
The photographer shall endeavour to photograph all individuals and events as requested by the client(s) but no responsibility will be taken by the photographer on the occasion of leaving somebody/something out.
For a booking involving a church ceremony or at certain venues, the photographer's movements are sometimes restricted by the official in charge. The area from which the photographer is able to cover the ceremony may not be the photographer's choice and the photographer cannot accept responsibility for any obstructed view should this be the case.
Some venues/officials may prohibit the use of Flash Photography during the ceremony. Please be aware that due to the lighting conditions images may appear darker because of this issue. Due to a variety of lighting conditions and the limitations of digital sensors some colours may alter throughout a set of photographs. Although all equipment is checked regularly and reasonable steps are taken to ensure backup equipment is available, the photographer will not be responsible
for photographs that are not produced due to technical failure.
The time we start work on your wedding day depends on what time your ceremony starts. If the preparation is taking place at the same venue as the ceremony then our coverage starts at least two hours before the ceremony starts. Weddings which require travel to a separate preparation address then onward travel to a venue may require an earlier start time to allow sufficient enough time for travel. Start times will be pre arranged between the client and Chris Snowden Photo
PRE WEDDING SHOOTS
Pre Wedding shoots are arranged at a later date and take place a month or so before the wedding. Dates offered are a mixture of weekend, weekday and evening appointments. While every effort is made to accommodate your working patterns your preferred time and date may not be available. Chris Snowden Photo will contact you to arrange this shoot.
Any directions issued to clients, their guests or employees during a photographic shoot are deemed to be at said persons own risk. The photographer cannot be held responsible for any personal accidents during a photographic shoot.
Under no circumstances will Chris Snowden Photo tolerate any form of abuse during a photographic event. If any form of abuse occurs then Chris Snowden Photo reserves the right to leave the event at any time and at no point can a refund be offered to the client.
The client is kindly requested to supply a main meal to the photographer on the day.
