The Walled Garden - Beeston Fields Golf Club - Nottingham - Louise & Simon

We're teetering on the edge of the 'crazy season' which basically means I'll have very little time to do things like write blogs pretty soon so im going to basque in this gorgeous spring weather we're all having at the moment and enjoy writing about this beautiful day!

I've known Louise for well over ten years now and its always an immense pleasure shooting a friends wedding so when they told me about it being at The Walled Garden I just couldn't wait. The venue is stunning -  The victorian gardens are exquisite and so well looked after. I love the fact you have the ceremony in the club house then move onto the walled garden after. Its just such a perfect setting and my words really do not do it justice!

The day starts bright and early as we head off to The Walled Garden for some pre wedding video shooting before the actual preparations get under way. It was such wonderful way to start the day walking round The Walled Garden before the days events began. The sun was shining, the gardener was hard at work tending the stunning gardens while staff were setting up the reception venue. After two glorious hours of filming it was off to the Belfry Hotel for the bridal prep shoot then back to The Walled Garden for some shots with the guys!

The ceremony took place in the club house just across from The Walled Garden and it was just such an amazing pleasure to be part of. The view from the ceremony room out across the beautiful golf course gave the ceremony a stunning backdrop!  After a short hop across back to The Walled Garden it was time to take Louise & Simon for a few photos and I couldn't have been happier with the results we were getting. The gardens just gave the photos such character and charm and the photos we captured are stunning! It's a photographers dream here at The Walled Garden. You can not fail to be inspired by its rustic charm and natural beauty and being surrounded by such a beautiful surroundings really pushes you to capture the best images you can for the Bride & Groom!

The day finishes with Louise and Simon's first dance together in the marquee followed by our final shots after the sun had set and wow ... Some of my favourite ever photos were taken today. Thank you to the wonderful couple and thank you to all the staff at The Walled Garden for being wonderful hosts!

Looking forward to my next visit in a few weeks time!

(I was also a guest at this wedding and the food was sublime!)
