Swancar Farm Country House - Nottingham - Venue Review

Idyllic, stunning, welcoming, romantic and above all beautiful. These arent just my words. Ive heard these words uttered many times over the last 3 years since this breath taking venue opened its doors to the wedding world.

I've had the immense privilege of shooting many weddings here at this 16th century country house and its by far one of my favourites. Its rolling hills, it elegant decor and the warm welcome awaits every couple and its a photographers paradise. Come rain or shine there's just so many great locations, inside and out.

The food is out of this world and the staff are truly amazing. They always go out of their way to ensure the couples day and even mine runs as smoothly as possible. Tracy and Steve ( The owners) have poured their hearts into turning this once derelict farm into one of Nottingham's premier wedding venues.

The magnificent Oak Hall with Its exposed beams, tiled floors, decadent fire place and sheer size has a wonderful, traditional charm that all adds to the ambiance of your wedding day.

From my point of view this really is the best a professional photographer can wish for in a wedding venue. Somewhere bright (even on cloudy days) that has indoor and outdoor locations. There's been times where I've been shooting a wet wedding and struggle to find locations indoors at other venues but the possibilities are endless here and thoroughly love working with all my wonderful couples here at the beautiful Swancar Farm Country House.

Looking forward to working with you all again this year!
