I first met Amy & Marie on a very cold January evening at the beginning of the year and loved their creativity towards their big day. As a wedding photographer I love working with people who want to bring their own creativity to the day. They we're telling me how they had so many talented friends who were adding to the day from singers, to musicians, to videographers,to cake makers. Each element of their day had its own personal touch and couldnt wait to see it all on the day!
We had a great pre shoot together a couple of weeks before the big day and loved their creative input towards the photography. There's not many couples who come prepared with a list of different shots they want on their wedding day apart from the add few who cut out lists straight from wedding publications. I'm normally left to my own devices and shoot the images I feel they would want but these guys knew how they wanted things to look and really wanted to show their personalities in the photos.
The wedding day itself was just mesmerising! Swancar Farm Country House played an awesome host as always and it was an immense pleasure to be part of. I've got two brides today so it was great running from one suite to another to capture enough of each others preparations before the ceremony got under way.
Before the ceremony started we were treated to some amazing guitar playing in the build up and before I knew it the girls were married in a gorgeous ceremony and it was off to enjoy the rest of the day at this beautiful venue!
I just want to thank Amy & Marie for letting me be part of their day and enjoyed every minute of it! Have a wonderful life together x
